This beginner course is specially designed to provide all the basic skills and knowledge required to begin a career as a nail enhancement specialist. The course covers nail anatomy and disorders, proper sanitation, manual filing and shaping, nail preparation, application of tips, forms, gel application, fills and maintenance. This course will fully prepare students to offer a full range of ongoing professional services to clients.

Pedicuring is the art and science of caring for the feet and toenails. A professional pedicure improves the guests’ comfort and the appearance of the feet, as well as making them feel pampered and cared for. There is much more to a pedicure than simply filing the feet and painting the toenails. A proficient and skilled pedicurist must fully understand the feet and their function.

This course is designed to provide a solid foundation of the pedicuring service. This two-day course covers pedicure procedures, focusing on anatomy and physiology, hygiene, nail preparation and specialized spa pedicure techniques, including paraffin wax treatments, application of exfoliates and light cured polish. The Professional kit received in this course includes all materials needed to complete work in and out of class with ample supplies remaining to further the students career in the art of pedicuring and light cured polish application.

Training and Education

Sugar Boss provides three days of hands-on learning in the advanced method of Body Sugaring.

Day 1 & 2 – consecutive days. (16 hours)

• Theory – discuss the Sugar Boss Manual and get helpful tips from the Educators.
• Hands-on Practical (12:30pm Day 1 / 9:30am & 12:30pm Day 2) – Our Educators will work closely with you to perfect your technique. They cover all areas of the body: face, eyebrows, upper lip, chin, underarms, arms, bikini, and legs.
• Take home Sugaring Kit.

Day 3 – held approximately two/three weeks after the training to allow you to practice your technique. (8 hours) TBA

• Written exam.
• Hands-on Practical (10:30am) – Our Educators will make sure your technique is perfected. They will answer any questions or problems.

• Come to class with a minimum 14 days hair growth – no more shaving, waxing or sugaring please!
• Long hair must be tied back
• No perfume or lotions
• No tanning 24 hours prior to class
• No exfoliation of skin 24 hours prior to class
• We will provide you with all classroom supplies necessary to take notes.
• Bring your own water bottle.
• Bring extra pair of shoes to sugar in and wear comfortable clothes.
