- You can use any colour for a base, but black will give the most contrast for the design to pop (we recommend Fuzion Fortify HEMA Free #02). For this design, we will be demonstrating a neon-lights style effect.
- Apply a thin layer of your preferred tack-free top coat (we used Fuzion Fortify HEMA Free Shiny) and do NOT cure.
- Take a small amount of Fuzion FX Glow-In-The-Dark Topcoat and mix about a 50/50 ratio with the colour of your choice. You can also use a pigment to add a glow effect, such as the Wildflowers Glow Pigment Powder. For mixing, we used the Ugly Duckling Crystal Palette. Tip: The lighter your colour choice is, the brighter the glow will be!
- Paint your design on the uncured topcoat as desired and cure for the recommended time.
- Mix a small amount of your glowing medium with white (Fuzion Fortify HEMA Free #01 is perfect for this) and trace over your lines, keeping them thin. Use a detailer brush such as the Fuzion Detailer II for this. Cure again for the recommended time.
- Apply top coat, and done! Note that the longer this nail design is exposed to bright light, the better it will glow in the dark.
